London Credit shortlisted for UK Bridging Lender of the Year

Specialist property lender London Credit has been shortlisted for UK Bridging Lender of the Year (sub £1bn) at the Alternative Credit Awards 2025, recognising its strong track record of delivery, responsiveness, and broker support across the short-term lending market.

Now in their fifth year, the Alternative Credit Awards celebrate excellence across the alternative credit landscape, including fund managers, specialist lenders, and service providers. Widely regarded as a key event in the industry calendar, this year’s winners will be announced at a gala ceremony on Wednesday 19 November 2025 at the Royal Lancaster London.

London Credit’s nomination reflects the lender’s continued growth and reputation for handling complex, time-sensitive bridging and development finance cases with a practical mindset.

The shortlisting follows a series of notable developments at the lender, including a series of criteria enhancements and the launch of a development finance offering.

The lender has also recently reduced its semi-commercial and commercial bridging rates by up to 72 basis points per annum, in a move designed to add greater affordability and flexibility on mixed-use and non-residential deals.

Marios Theophanous, Credit Manager at London Credit, commented:

“We’re proud to be recognised in a category that includes some of the most respected names in the industry. Our focus has always been on giving brokers direct access to decision-makers and offering solutions that are grounded in speed, flexibility and transparency.

“Whether it’s a straightforward bridge or a more complicated project, we know how important it is to move quickly and communicate clearly. That’s what brokers rely on, and that’s what we aim to deliver every time.”
